DUI/ DWI
Driving under the influence (DUI or DWI) is the offense of driving, operating, or being in control of a vehicle while impaired by alcohol or drugs (including recreational drugs and those prescribed by physicians), to a level that renders the driver incapable of operating a motor vehicle safely.
Traffic Violations
A traffic violation is an act that violates the traffic laws of a state or country while driving a vehicle on streets or highways. Traffic violations can range from minor infractions like speeding or running a red light to more serious crimes like drunk or reckless driving.
Identity Theft
Identity theft definition is the illegal or fraudulent use of someone else's personal information, such as name, identifying number, or credit card number, without their permission, to commit fraud or other crimes, usually for financial gain.
Fraud
Fraud is intentional deception to secure unfair or unlawful gain, or to deprive a victim of a legal right. Fraud can violate civil law (a fraud victim may sue the fraud perpetrator to avoid the fraud or recover monetary compensation) or criminal law (a fraud perpetrator may be prosecuted and imprisoned by governmental authorities), or it may cause no loss of money, property, or legal right but still be an element of another civil or criminal wrong.
White-Collar Crimes
The term "white-collar crime" refers to financially motivated, nonviolent or non-directly violent crime committed by individuals, businesses and government professionals. These crimes can include public corruption, health care fraud, mortgage fraud, securities fraud, and money laundering, to name a few.
Drug Crimes
A drug-related crime is a crime to possess, manufacture, or distribute drugs classified as having a potential for abuse. Other drug-related crimes include drug trafficking and drug production.
Underage Drinking Citations
In Pennsylvania, an underage drinking citation is issued to anyone under the age of 21 who is caught possessing, consuming, transporting, purchasing or attempting to purchase any alcoholic beverage.
Civil Rights Violations
The crime of Civil Rights Violation punishes the use or threat of force, intimidating, threatening a person with bodily injury or otherwise oppressing another from the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the laws or United States Constitution.
Homicide
Homicide occurs when a person kills another person. A homicide requires only a volitional act or omission that causes the death of another, and thus a homicide may result from accidental, reckless, or negligent acts even if there is no intent to cause harm.
